Never allow Orchids to sit in water, as this will cause the plant to die. They respond well to light daily watering, as with most plants over wetting can do more harm than good. The Ixora plant has pointed leaves and appear in rounded clusters at the top of many branches. Some Ixoras have glossy more ovate leaves. 
Ixoras appear in may beautiful colors including, red. orange, and bright and light pink.

The colors are strikingly beautiful and may be red, yellow or orange. You may even see colors such as maroon, bronze and variegate, depending on their species. The Canna plant thrives best in partially shaded areas or direct sunlight, moist soil that is properly well drained and rich in organic matter. Canna plants also thrive well in both pots and in the ground, and although resilient they can be susceptible to the cold. Over-wetting can do more harm than good.
